A carved gilt-wood console table in the style of William Kent and the reign of George II. The marble top rests above an egg and dart and Greek key pattern moulded frieze. The naturalistically carved eagle, with outstreched wings, stands on a rockwork base and is raised on a carved and moulded plinth.
